| Hello, | | We have to move our CF 5 Enterprise over from a RH 7.0 server to one running 7.3 (kernel 2.4.19) and Apache 1.3.27. I know there has been discussion on this list in the past on some incompatibilities with CF and 7.3, but since the discussion now hits home with me, I have a few questions: | | 1) Are you running the above combination and what, if any, problems have you had? None except remembering tht in Linuz everything is case sensitive. | | 2) Are you running Verity and does it work well on 7.3? Yes, it works fine | | 3) Are you using RH's up2date service? Have any updates caused any glitches to develop with CF? Yes, and have experienced no problems yet. | | 4) Our data tables are in FoxPro format. How difficult would it be to convert them to MySQL? Not difficult at all - CF 5.0 of Linux already has a MSSQL driver that comes with it, and of course the SQL2000 must bo on a Windows Box. The conversion is not difficult at all.. If you have a copy of FoxPro, you can use the upsize wizard to convert your FP database to SQL2K | | Any other issues you can think of that I should be aware of? Syntax | | Thanks! | | Robert J.
