I know this question was asked by someone on this list recently but I can't find that
any answer was given.

We recently installed CF 5 Enterprise on a RedHat 8.0 box, and now we are getting
numerous instances in the server.log file of "An Unexpected error occurred while
attempting to write the reply to the pipe" followed immediately by "Unix error number
104 occurred: Connection reset by peer." These messages never occurred on our old box
(CF 5, RedHat 7.0).

I know that Unix error number 104 is "direct i/o not allowed" but can anyone tell me
what that means, whether it's something I need to correct, and if so how do I correct
it?
