fyi - i use CyberCash on Linux with CFMX.  as you discovered, 
cfx_cybercash doesn't work so i used the MCK and rolled some Perl 
scripts which i call with CFEXECUTE.  from what i can tell it works 
fine about 99.9% of the time.  the few failures could actually be on 
Verisign's side but i have no way to reproduce the problem.

some day i'll migrate to PayFlow Pro, but this bought me over a year 
of procrastination time.  :-)
