When CFMX U3 passed regression on RedHat AS 2.1 there was no ES or WS.

Since then, Redhat seems to have broken down AS into several "flavors". Reading the
product description on the RH website, it appears to me that ES and WS are subsets of
AS, because they are lower price points branched off of AS and have fewer features.
We expect that there should not be problems deploying CFMX to any of these Red Hat
Linux editions. They are all baked from the RH 7.2 distribution. Macromedia support
will provide a right to service if you need official support.

Subject: Red Hat Advanced Server AS/ES

Coldfusion MX (w/Updater 3) is certified to run on 'Red Hat Advanced Server 2.1'.
This product now comes in two flavours - 'AS' and 'ES'. There is also a workstation
version 'WS'.

I understand from attending CF_Europe last week that CFMX *should* be fine on AS but
what about ES?

Any ideas/thoughts/comments gratefully received.

MTIA,

Matthew.

(intended deployment hardware is dual processor Dell PowerEdge 1650 w/1gb ram)
