Yeah.  That's been going round in my mind too, but I'll be damned if I can
find emails from any of the list relating to this.

I would, but its someone else's product and I've discovered I need to
install mySQL 4+ on a client server for the whole app to work.  At the
moment I'm not prepared to go to mySQL 4 on a client machine (we're
currently running it on one of our servers to test for a while), so we'll be
going for a different version or vendor that doesn't require mySQL 4.
