I just posted this the other cftalk list in response to a similar question, so pardon this dup.... Before CFMX 6.1, ColdFusion did not support RedHat Linux 7.3, 8, or 9. Now, CFMX 6.1 does support those OS versions, but the version of Verity in CFMX does not support those OS's. Hence, CFMX 6.1 does not support Verity on: RedHat 7.3, 8, 9; Suse 7.3, 8.x; or TurboLinux 8. Of course CFMX 6.1's Verity functionality still works on RedHat 7.2 and RedHat Advanced Server 2.1. You may want to consider indexing options such as Lucene.
