If you're only setting up ur environment now, why not go 6.1? You'd be
much better off!

1) You have to specify the remote host in the gui, by default its
localhost.

2+3) Sorry can't help there, we're using sticky session round robin load
balancing from the cfmx connector. Works great!

HTH a litte,

Stace

Subject: CFMX Updater 3 Clustered in Distributed Mode

I have 3 clustered servers with a few issues.

1) I'm attempting to use the -cluster option when running the
wsconfig.jar
connecter on the cluster.
I'm using a cluster in the distributed mode. When I attempt to make the
connection it says "Could not connect to any JRun servers on host
localhost.
Confirm that the JRun server is started". I looked at the faq and the
three
options there are set up correctly.

2) My load on each server is constantly running at 100%. If I set a
cluster
member to direct requests to another server based on the standard 90%
load,
cluster cats shows the exclamation point over their server icon. It
will
only stay "green" when the server load is set to 100%.

3) In /var/log/messages on each server, the default probes have issues
finding the other cluster members and themselves. The log shows that
every
other try, the cluster member they are trying to talk to is "AVAILABLE"
the
alternating message says "NOT AVAILABLE". This happens constantly.

        a) Why is it alternating from available to not available?
        b) Why does cluster cats write to the log file constantly?
