Thanks for your message, unfortunately it didn't work :-( I matched up the
permissions and ownership as you suggested and I'm still getting the jrun
error.....

  Check the permissions on the directory and make sure that the user
  that the JRun service is started under has the appropriate read/write
  permissions. For example, if the directory is owned by the user "jrun"
  and the service is started as "jrun", you'd need to have the following
  permissions:

  -rwxr--r--
