Forgot to point out another tool that may be of assistance to you as
well: http://www.webmin.com/
It gives you a graphical interface to the entire machine. It is an
invaluable tool for me and has helped me kludge my way through the os.
I haven't found a single thing as far as linux administration that
webmin doesn't have a gui for.
