Sorted it out. It was caused by the combination of the mod_jrun.so source
stuff looking for some kerberos include files in a specific location, and
red hat / whitebox putting those files somewhere else. Creating the
following symlinks in /usr/include allowed mod_jrun.so to re-compile
without any errors.

com_err.h -> /usr/kerberos/include/com_err.h
krb5.h -> /usr/kerberos/include/krb5.h
libpty.h -> /usr/kerberos/include/libpty.h
mit-sipb-copyright.h -> /usr/kerberos/include/mit-sipb-copyright.h
port-sockets.h -> /usr/kerberos/include/port-sockets.h
profile.h -> /usr/kerberos/include/profile.h
