Stefan, I received the following back in Jan when I inquired about running CFMX on Ubuntu (Debian based).
Hope this is helpful. Doug James BTW - I have CFMX 7 running on Ubuntu but have not tried Verity. <cf_snip> I did not install CFmx in ubunto, but I did this on Debian. The instalation works well , even the cfmx documentation did not test debian. But I have problems to make verity works .... Well, this is what I found : When verity is not enable, this is because the system can not load the libCFXNeo.so. This was my case , trying to intall CFX6.1 in Debian I search for what dependencies this .so file need (using ldd) and found that libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 was missing. So I found the .deb package that has this file, install it, and the verity could be enable at my debian system. The package can be found here : HYPERLINK http://packages.debian.org/stable/oldlibs/libstdc++2.9-glibc2.1 </cf_snip> > I just wonder how people out there have managed to deal with verity on > different Linux dists.
