To start with, a distro-specific connector can be built by following the directions here and in the file listed in ApacheBuildInstructions.txt as follows:
52198 - In order to fully support JRun4 on Red Hat Linux versions 8 and 9, users must recompile the Apache connector source code. For more information on compiling Apache connectors, see the ApacheBuildInstructions.txt file in the lib/wsconfig.jar/ApacheModule.zip file. Second, the installer provides a default that should be changed to match your Apache webroot if you're running a default setup. Or if you're running vhosts then you'll need to configure your connector in the main httpd.conf file and your host webroots either there or in separate vhosts files. In any case you'll need to get CF talking to apache with the connector first.
