Barney's post was correct assuming you have CFMX 7 "Server Configuration" then you can use the cfmx-init.sh script to install the bootscript: (cfmx-init.sh [install | uninstall ] )
If you have "Multiserver" configuration, then there are no supported bootscripts for ColdFusion. The TalkingTree blog entry proposes scripts that could be used for this purpose after installation.
