Bryan or anyone else:

Does anyone know why the scollable <div> would operate on one machine but
not on another, when they are both running IE 5.5? I know it is not
specific to either Windows 95, 98, or 2000. Is there an option that needs
to be selected in the browser to enable this functionality?

depending on what version of NS your talking about, it may not go along with
the style attributes. The overflow-x and y are IE only

| This is on the right track. I get scrollbars in IE.
| 2 problems:
| 1. I don't get any scrollbars in Netscape.
| 2. I get a bottom scrollbar as well as the side scrollbar in IE.
| I notice on the site you gave, that there are 2 proposed attributes
| overflow-x and overflow-y; are these what I would need to get rid of the
| bottom scrollbar?
| The more important thing, is getting it to work in Netscape.
| Anymore help would be appreciated.
| Thanks,
| Don

| If I remember correctly it is:
|
| <div style="width:100%; height:200; overflow:scroll;"></div>
|
| Here is the link to look up the correct property values

|
| | I have a page which is currently a frame page, but I want to get away

| scrollable,

| | The div tag would take up the entire bottom of the page, and I want it

| | scroll up and down.
| | Can anyone help?
