Today's Mission Impossible involves me trying to
figure out if it is possible for a user to upload a file of yet unknown type and
convert it to .pdf. on our server and have it stored either in a db or a file.
I'm pretty certain once the file gets converted I can take it from there I'm
just not certain what software package I should use to do the online
conversion . So far I've looked at Acrobat Distiller and activePDF which
looks promising, but before I get on the phone with shady sales people I was
wondering if anybody has already hoed this row?
