Dear colleagues,
we would like to announce the availability of a new CF checker tool
available at
http://htap.icg.kfa-juelich.de:50080/upload
Presently, it checks for CF-1.0 compliance, but upgrades are planned to
include later revisions as well. The tool was developed in the context of the
TFHTAP multi-model experiment analysis and is written in Python. The source
code is available upon request from Michael Decker ([email protected]).
The development was initiated, because we felt that the existing tools aren't
checking rigourously enough. The log report of your file check will contain 3
sections: errors, warnings and info messages. Please note that the user
interface is still preliminary and may change in the future.
We would be happy if you could help us test this new tool and if it could
be included in the list of CF checker tools on the CF web site.
