Dear CF Board,
I would like to propose a new standard name,
dvorak_tropical_cyclone_current_intensity_number.
Units: Dimensionless
Definition: “Dvorak current intensity number” means the ranking ( 1 to
8) of tropical cyclone strength derived using the Advanced Dvorak
Technique based on satellite observations, which has been empirically
related to maximum sustained 1-minute wind speed and mean sea level
atmospheric pressure.
