Ah, thanks. I didn't realize that 1.6 was older than that ticket, which was
approved on March 16, 2012.

So, the CF checker will only allow multiple terms in the Conventions
attribute after 1.7 is published and implemented. That makes sense.

Thanks again -
Nan

Yes, that's right - I postponed CF 1.7 work until after we have finished rebuilding the web site.

Dear Nan

As far as I understand, Jeff has not yet completed applying all the updates.
That is, we do not yet have a finished CF 1.7 document.

Is that right, Jeff?

Thanks

Jonathan

Subject: Re: [CF-metadata] [CF Metadata] #76: More than one name in
    Conventions attribute, NERC CF Checker

Hi all -

Sorry, I can't seem to log in on the trac site today so I have to reply
via email.

The current conventions document does not include the update that was
agreed in ticket 76, which allows a comma-separated list of conventions
in the Conventions attribute. This is in section 2.6.1.

We agreed to this because it's what the NetCDF Users Guide recommends.

I noticed this omission when the on-line NERC CF-checker (at
puma.nerc.ac.uk/cgi-bin/cf-checker.pl) complained about a compound
Conventions attribute in one of my files.

Can we get this change into the document?

Thanks - Nan
