We are just working on an approach to map our sensors to CF standard variables. How do we know which CF version an XML version associates with. Eg.., is xml v27 for CF1.6? Or is it CF1.1 based on the reference to cf-standard-name-table-1.1.xsd

If you have a specific need (e.g., software interface) for the names to show up at a particular page in a particular form, might mention that to the list.
