The connection of CF Trac to [email protected] isn't fully automatic, 
but isn't supposed to require you to do anything.  Brian Eaton emails me with 
changes to the ucar cf-metadata list and I put them in to the list which 
handles CF Trac outgoing mail.  I put several of them in a week or two ago.  
Thereafter, messages are handled automatically.  Please send me your 
colleague's email address and I will put it in if it isn't there yet.

Hi CF

I had thought that the mailing list subscribers automatically received updates 
from the CF Trac site.

I have recently had a query which suggested that a colleague of mine has been 
receiving mailing list updates but not trac ticket updates.

Is this a glitch in the system?
Is it something which can be fixed on an individual user level? at a system 
level?

I think that it is important for ticket changes to be clear to all community 
members, otherwise people will not engage effectively
