Hi again everyone, I'm hoping we might be able to follow up on some of the discussion in https://cf-trac.llnl.gov/trac/ticket/142 and implement the proposed standard name ensemble_member_label?
ensemble_member_label units: None (string expected) A string-value used to uniquely identify members within an ensemble of forecasts A variable of this type is crucial as a member descriptor for a set of ensemble forecast products we will be looking to generate operationally at the Met Office. I'm hoping this could perhaps be implemented standalone wrt to some of the ticket's other more complex recommendations? Following through the discussion on the ticket, adding the suggested standard names 'source' and 'institution' would also be nice to have's as future-proofing.
