Dear all I am delighted to tell you (as you may already know) that Karl Taylor, who is the chair of the CF governance panel and the CF committee, has been elected a Fellow of the AGU. This is a richly deserved award, which recognises Karl's immense contribution to climate science, both through his research, and through his leadership of and contribution to international coordinated activities, especially CMIP. An important part of this has been his work on CF. Karl chaired the meeting nearly 20 years ago at which CF began. Thank you, Karl, and well done.
