 I understand your point of view now, thank you, but I'm afraid I don't
 agree with your implications.

 I think our scope for this ticket is to define how the semantics of the
 data model provide clear relations between components to enable an
 implementation to provide such functionality however it sees fit.

 Whilst a programming language's internal referencing system may exist, I
 do not think any aspect of the data model can be dependent on such
 implmentation details. The model is an abstract, self consistent entity;
 the relationships need to be based on semantics (imho).

 As such I don't think we can use 'domain axis identity' as you describe
 it.
