We all appreciate the sentiment, but since the status quo is "not a problem, per se", I continue to think that we should leave things as they are. Although `string x(x)` might seem like a natural fit, it has the serious disadvantage of resembling a dimension coordinate variable, which it can't be (and Jim doesn't intend it to be).
