Doing a quick search of our (PCMDI's) latest website, I haven't found these pages (yet). I wonder if anything written came out of that discussion that we could link to?
We might also generate a list of CMIP variable names associated with each standard name and link to that. Or we could simply eliminate the sentences given above.
