Thanks, I'll try using the ISO charset.

The powers that be won't let me run the thing without a multi-lingual
charset, as it contains german and spanish characters. (accents etc.)

What happens when you remove the charset?

I found this on MM:

I am getting this error:

An exception occurred when setting up mail server parameters.
This exception was caused by: coldfusion.mail.MailSessionException: An
exception occurred when setting up mail server parameters..

sending mail from CFMX. The page sends mails to many users, and it
isn't always the same mail that crashes the page. It seems to break on
some random itteration of the loop.

Knowns:

1)Some of the mails are html and some plain text, it doesn't seem to
matter which it breaks on.

2) None of the mails have attachments.

3) Other mails on this server are at least getting spooled, from
seemingly identical code. It's just this page that is breaking.

4) The only difference between this page and the others (as far as I can
see) is that this one has a charset (windows-1252).

If anyone can offer advice, please do!

Thanks,
Richard
