Howdy folks. I have a development server and a live server both running the same code. One of my apps allows users to automatically email a report to a distribution list. My dev server is currently working as per usual. The live server spontaneously quit working for no apparent reason. I get errors in the log that it cannot connect to the mail server. I can ping the mail server from the live server, and I can also telnet into port 25 of the mail server from the live server. All services have been restarted. There is nothing in the spool folder and nothing in the event logs that seem to lend a clue. Other than the mail feature, my applications on the live server are accessible and otherwise working.
