Nancy,
Thanks for the reply.
The DirCategory numbers are a way to seperate the categories, (What to See and
Do = 100, Where to Stay = 101, Where to Shop = 102, Where to Dine = cat_id 103)
And the Subdircategory numbers are a way to seperate the subcategories,
(Diners/Coffeeshops = subcat_id 120, Family Restaurants = subcat_id 121 etc. in
the category Where to Dine)
The original designers were calling for a page with category listings like
Where to Dine, then by clicking a category you would get subcategory listings
from which the user could select and get an alphabetical listing of let's say
Diners and Coffeeshops.
The company now wants the user to be able to access an alphabetical list of all
the places to dine just by clicking Where to Dine.
I know if I could get a return on even one query I'd be set.
I tried your suggestion and am still getting the same error....
Thanks again,
Lisa
