I tried it and it sets the vars, but it doesn't save the file on my PC.

I tried this:

<cfcookie name    ="test1"
          value   ="torrentGirl"
          expires ="#DateAdd('h', 4, Now())#">

and this:

<cfcookie         name          ="test1"
                  value         ="torrentGirl"
                  expires       ="#CreateTimeSpan(0, 8, 0, 0)#">

>CreateDate(0, 2, 0, 0) should do it.
