Greetings. We are migrating a Cold Fusion 5 process using Access to Cold Fusion
MX Using MySQL in a Linux environment. This is a ticket ordering process. At
the end of the process, when the script tries to pull customer data from a
database for an order summary, it pulls previous order information from the
database. If you try to start over, when the cookie is used as customer id to
clear the database, I get an error:
Syntax error or access violation: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '*
FROM temp_shopping_cart WHERE customerid LIKE 'NVCMKRICGDKOL89080'' at line 1
for the following code -
<CFOUTPUT>
<CFIF ISDEFINED("cookie.shoppingcart_cookie") IS TRUE>
<CFQUERY DATASOURCE="LIGHT2">
DELETE *
FROM temp_shopping_cart
WHERE customerid LIKE '#cookie.shoppingcart_cookie#'
</CFQUERY>
<CFCOOKIE NAME="shoppingcart_cookie" VALUE="" expires="now">
</cfif>
</cfoutput>
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
