Subject: Passing Parameters through the URL

I am passing a URL through the URL. Here is the idea... the user is
going through a lecture where there is a quiz at the end. Before taking
the quiz, the user must login and go through payment options before
going to the test.

The goal is to save the URL in the URL along the way so by the time the
user has finished paying, the user will not have to reselect the quiz...
the user can go right to it!

I am using this code and IT IS INCORRECT but I do not know the correct
syntax...
<a href="tests/#URL.testID#">Go To Test</a>

Anyone know how to do this?

(I am aware that the user can see the URL and skip logging in and paying
by going right there at this point... I will make it secure later...
just trying to learn how to do this right now.)

Thanks!
