Hey Bob,
  I'm using an Access DB right now, and the projected amount of data could be 
up to 2048 characters. At least thats were I have the limit set right now.  
Yes, the users would probably be adding to the record with notes about the 
account, but probably not on a regular base.

Your suggestion seems like that would probably work.  I'll play around with it 
and let you know how it goes.
