Subject: CF8 Connecting to MySql 5.1

Ok - here's a great Newb question!

I have never setup CFAdministrator locally to connect to a MySQL DB.
But, I got a new laptop and thought it would be a good idea to setup a
"local testing environment on it."

I have CF Server 8 - Developer installed

I also have MySQL 5.1 installed - and I created a db with a table

I go into the CF admin and try to connect - but nothing - so I think my
settings are wrong?

Datasource:bigfatty
Server:bigfatty
port: 3306
username:
password:

And I get the error "Connection verification failed for datasource:
bigfatty blah blah Access Denied for user "@'localhost'(using password:
NO)"

I have no idea what I am doing.... In the past all databases were setup
on the webserver by the hosting company.

Thanks - Nick
