When I install CF 8 on windows I picked to install everything that was
presented during the install, which now I can't remember if verity was included
in that option.

When I go to the CF admin, under verity collections I get the error:
"Unable to retrieve collections from the Search Service.
Please verify that the ColdFusion Search Server is installed and running."

Before I re-install CF 8, can somebody tell me where to look for this? I did
check:
C:\ColdFusion8\verity\Adobe_ColdFusion_8_Search_Service_InstallLog.log and I
see that there where 0 errors during the install, this means that I should have
verity installed?

Also, the K2 server is configured for localhost. I am using the build in web
server(port 8500), do I need to change this to localhost:8500?

I know that there is no way to install verity on the mac, and so I really need
to get this working at school.

Thanks so much,
John
