I had to install the Oracle Admin on the server and that is what gave me
the driver. I am not sure if it needed to be that elaborate to not,
just what I was given and instructed to do by our DBA.

Subject: cf7 no oracle driver

Hi folks,

I'm trying to find out how to go about getting and oracle driver
installed so that I can register an oracle datasource in the
administrator on cfmx7; no listing for oracle displays in list of
available drivers. I realize I'll need to know which version of oracle
I'll be working with (and I will); but I have had no luck finding a
resource on how to go about doing this to prepare for it. I really need
something simple and easy to follow :-) since I have no experience with
installing drivers for this sort of thing. Anybody??

TIA

Bob
