Google for DataDirect SequeLink ODBC Service Issues with CF MX.

Also upgrade to MSSQL/MySQL is the best option as recommended by Chris.

See if compact/repair on the database helps.  If there will be a lot  
of activity I recommend using an SQL server such as MySQL or MSSQL.   
If compact/repair help, schedule something to do it periodically.
