Thanks for your help.
I tried that(<cfparam name="form.name" default=""> etc.), and if I just submit
the form, I get the error"Field 'Name' doesn't have a default value"
I have had this situation when trying to write to a database. It works great
for sending email.
I feel like I have made a lot of progress with the mailing list, still have a
ways to go.
