At a guess, check your mapping to the CFIDE folder on your live server. I
bet it's not there, and cf can't find the validation code.

Subject: Strangeness

Here's a strange bug that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I've got
some regular expression validation happening inside cfselect statements.
They work fine on our development server, but they don't run at all on the
live server and the bad data is sent right through to the database. Any
thoughts as to why that would happen? Here's an example:

<cfinput name="EPE#counter#" type="Text" value="#qdRTP.epe#"
range="0,999999999" validate="regular_expression" pattern="^\d\d*$"
message="Please enter a positive integer in EPE row #counter#"
passthrough="class=semr" onBlur="fundCalc(#counter#)" style="width:64px">

I've also noticed in the past that regular validations like required="yes"
message="You must select a community to search this data." work on our
development server but not the live server. Weird....
