I am working on a simple upload utility and was wondering if there is a way to catch the mime type before it hits the cffile action? I am using the filter attribute to limit the upload to pdf docs but of course that displays an ugly cf error message that I'd rather head off beforehand. Any ideas on how to go about checking for this before the cffile goes to work? TIA!
