Sorry for the slow reply, I don't know the answer to your question, but I would suggest checking out CFFormProtect instead. http://cfformprotect.riaforge.org/ Captcha is one of the most user-unfriendly developments for web pages, pretty universally despised (just google 'captcha sucks'), and I refuse to inflict it on users when I can't stand dealing with it myself.
