This is going to sound strange, but what do you think is the best directory structure when dealing with search engines. I want each section to be seen as almost independent of the site for ranking purposes. Currently, all of the lists are under /cf_lists with an identifier showing what list is being dealt with. I'm thinking of changing it to /groups/cf-talk and /groups/cf-community instead to have more of a separation and have the name of the lists in the url. Another option is to have /cf-talk and /cf-community straight from the root of the site. Does anyone have any evidence that one structure is better than another? Also, if using the /groups/listname structure, is groups the best term to use or should something else be used like "lists", "forums", "archives" or the like?
