Be that as it may, there's one thing to remember. CF-Talk is a public, technical mailing list that for many is representative of the ColdFusion community (to the tune of 663,855 unique human visitors since Jan 1, 2007). Threads with titles like this one and posts with fights or other non-relevant content do nothing to help the community.
That's what it comes down to in the end. Is your post helpful to someone else or to the community in general? And as for the debate if House of Fusion is representative of the ColdFusion community, the point is moot. We're on just about every ColdFusion related search page. When someone asks Google a question, they see us even if they don't click through. We have to look respectful and responsible, especially as CF-Talk posts are on the front of the site and heavily distributed. >I can vouch for Tom having met him in person, he always tries to help out on >this list where ever he can. > >Perhaps it was the dry british humour that you did not pick up on ;) > >On 19/05/07, Dave Watts <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create Web Applications With ColdFusion MX7 & Flex 2.
