I have been shaving my head for about 6 months before I got into CF. Humorous story behind it too. We had a really hot summer. I working for Platinum Technology in their distribution warehouse. Workingin a warehouse when it is hot is like working in an oven. What made it worse is that it was so hot, that we were overtaxing the energy grid and there wasn't enough juice to run the AC units. So one day a bunch of my co-workers came in with really short hair cuts. My boss had been trying to get me to cut my hair for a couple of years...I had hair down to my behind. So he comes up to me and asks me what it would take to get me to cut my hair. I asked him what he was offering. What he didn't know was that I was planning on getting it cut anyway...it was just too hot to deal with long hair. He offered $20. I agreed. He got one of the guys I work with who was also a barber to bring out his electric shears. We cut it all off right there in the parkinglot. We saved the pony tail...I still have it. I have been bald ever since :-D It was about a 6 months later when I got my first development job where I learned CF.
