(win2k) ntfrs.exe

I've got a win2k server running at home and every now and again, one service
will try and grab a TON of both normal and virtual memory. This basically
kills the machine for use. The service is ntfrs.exe. Anyone know what this
is and if I can turn it off (and how)?
