per our conversation, your group should organize and provide or provide
access to at least the following information: site host information; server
ip address and access to the cf administrative module (cf server, running on
the remote host). alternatively, if the database, and cold fusion code
files are small enough (under 100 mb) and you have a high bandwith internet
connection, you can ftp up to me or i can ftp down from you.

i understand from our discussion that you have one relational access
database, and at least one flat filemaker database. i understand that the
cf code hooks to the access mdb for web presentation.

i understand one of your objectives to be a cf connection to a new
relational access mdb for web presentation.

i do not yet understand the cookie problem, nor am i clear about the
difference between helplink, and brain. are they different sites that share
a database? are they the same site using two different databases, or are
they two different sites using two different databases?

if you have additional questions you may telephone me at 703-218-2015, after
5:00pm est.

oops! sorry.

Thanks for your reply/interest. Our site is www.helplink-sf.org (very sad
at the moment). Check it out and tell me what you think. We are looking to
change the focus to the organizations work rather than the database. The
site would still serve as a subscribers log in but the information would be
HELPLINK's website not the BRAIN's web site. The coldfusion work entails
fixing a cookie, and re-configuring our online database to allow for imports
from a new database.
Are you interested in doing comp work in exchange for promotion and a fine
mailing list?

Do any of you offer nonprofit rates? If so, are any of you interested in
working on a website of ours that combines html and coldfusion to post a
Microsoft Access database of Bay Area health and human services. We have
grand ideas but lost our designer to a consulting job in the South of
France. Figures. Any response would be appreciated.

Catherine.
