Dear All

I recently rebuilt my development machine which has Personal
Web Server and the single user version of CF server. When
I am logged in to NT as a domain user the CF Administrator
has decided to look at another NT Server on the network which
is our main CF server. I happily changed settings only to
realise I am changing the wrong server. If I log back into
NT as a local user not on the domain then CF Administrator
is now looking at the local CF server. When I installed
CF I did it as the domain user (mistake?) but I certainly
didnt tell the install about the other machine on the network.

My question is - what has happened as I am sure that this is
not how it was working before I rebuilt my machine. Is
there a setting somewhere that tells the installation which
CF server to look at depending upon which NT user I am logged
in as? I dont want to have to log in locally to change the
settings on my local CF server. Does it have something to
do with the user that the services log in as? I set that to
be the local administrator (although I tried domain users too).

Details are CF Server (single developer user) version 4.5 on a
NT workstation 4.0 with sp5 and PWS. Also running CF Studio 4.5
on same machine.

Thanks for any advice in advance

Phil Palmer
