William,
Try this, create your CF template with all the appropriate stuff filled in
the CF template. Then call the page using CFHTTP, and finally output the
static HTML page using CFFile.
In a recent CFDJ there was an article about how to do this. It seems like a
much easier scheme to implement than what you were discussing. The URL for
it is http://www.sys-con.com/coldfusion/archives/0208/smith/index.html
I have a more detailed explanation at home that I'll send to you tomorrow.
hth,
larry

Hi CF Guru's,
I need help! I'm trying to create a new HTML file dynamically generated from
CF.
Here's what works now but it's dirty code and I need your help for something
easier. Maybe a CF tag or something?
