most servers will not automatically do a reverse DNS lookup off of the
address. do you get a value with #CGI.REMOTE_ADDR# ?
if you want to get the host info, i would suggest the CFX tag called
NSLookup. we've never had any problems with it on any of our 5 production
servers or client websites.
