>OT: what is the max number of tables SQl 7.0 can handle?
From SQL Server books online ...
"Database objects include all tables, views, stored procedures, extended
stored procedures, triggers, rules, defaults and constraints.
The sum of the number of all these objects in a database cannot exceed
2,147,483,647."
So the answer is it depends on what else has been defined. Absolute
maximum is about 2 billion.
