What are you calling an "NNTP site"? Most public news servers have horrible
retention rates, so a search mechanism targeting one of these servers would
have limited value. Something better might be to tie into a site like
DejaNews. I've done this by simply creating a form that mimics their Power
Search form, with my desired default settings.
